Since he and Holder did that and it failed to help them gut the Second Amendment, it's a pretty much lead pipe cinch that he and Holder went on looking for another way to create an even “better” atrocity to give them another run at the Second Amendment. The Regime has almost unlimited resources to troll the Internet looking for unstable, mentally ill individuals who might be lusting to perpetrate a Newtown atrocity. Hence, there's an excellent chance the Regime, having failed with F&F, set out to do just that and discovered Lanza as their ideal mass murderer. Having discovered him, it didn't take much effort to develop him into the ideal murder machine and turn him loose.
