Americans place more blame for mass shootings on parents and Hollywood than they do on guns, a surprising new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll reveals.

Asked how much responsibility several choices might bear for the shootings that have taken place in Tucson AZ, Aurora CO and Newtown CT, guns came in fifth.

The top choice was “parents not paying enough attention to what is going on in their children’s lives”—83 percent said that was “a great deal” or a “good amount” responsible. Only 4 percent said “none at all.” …

I don’t trust newsmax. They cite a poll that is not linked in the story.

It’s linked, but you have to submit an email address/zipcode, then verify in an email they send you.

Not giving Newsmax any of my info. If they had any credibility, they’d not require personal info for a link to a story they’re citing.

This poll was discussed on CNBC this morning. John Harmon, their Leftist Washington Post reporter, actually admitted that the results were “disappointing” to those favoring gun control.

They were so sure that the media had browbeaten Americans into giving up the Second Amendment. Guess they’ll have to cash in on the next massacre in some “gun free zone” to push their agenda.

I’ve created a my_name@excite.com or my_name@yahoo.com email account just to allow me to give them when I want access to their info. That way if they start spamming me I can just ignore it and it goes into /dev/null.

I never give them my real e-mail info.

Modern hollywierd is soulless and devoid of American ideals, inspiration/creativity. It is inhumane, abusive and oppressive.

Yes, they have too much influence on the public culture. Parents can not totally protect their children from the ever looming darkness of Hollywierd. Mixing the ideals of toltarianism, loveless whoredom, and ganstaism with the spirit of satanism is not a winning entertainment ideal for American children.

The industry needs to die.

I’m not disagreeing with you. Just telling you a method I use to get out of these sites what I want without giving them what they want.
