I don't see any links to confirm the info, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't correct. The right know their own. The left are blind to their own.
Not one NRA member among them? Every one registered Democrats except for the too-young kid whose parents were?
Just Wow.
On topic but off -- they are connected -- Watched Tom Selleck in the very enjoyable Jesse Stone TV series, with Selleck as a kind of gutsy, quiet, right-thinking small town sheriff. Interesting and engaging show. So then I read the book, which was written by a liberal, Robert Parker (RIP) -- the TV show changed the book quite a bit. Selleck directed it. He made it a lot better than the book.
In the liberal author's mind, the main villain was a corrupt small-town political geek who was a kind of "Napoleon" to the local right-wing nut brigade "Freedom's Horsemen," mouth-breathing gun owners and "militia" who blindly did what the geek bid, who because he was trying to cover his own ass, had convinced them that government tyranny had reached the point that they needed to kill the sheriff. I was so disgusted I just skimmed through the last pages. What a let-down.
That is how liberals see us, and IT IS WHAT THE LIBERALS ACTUALLY ARE.
Thank heaven, there really are less of "them" and more of "us" (meaning level-headed, anti-liberal, moral and productive limited government Out of Our Hair types) in America, than it appears, and certainly if elections were authentically represented, our government would be smaller and we would be freer. Have faith.
Thanks for the Tom Selleck ping. Long live Jesse Stone!!!
Willfully so. They see the corrosive, degraded nature of their own, but choose to avert their eyes.
Just look at how they reactively circle the wagons around any lib Dem who fails the test of human decency in public. No matter the transgression, lib Dems can always count on their own to ignore, deny, excuse, or sweep their failings under the rug.
On the other hand, when a conservative Republican fails, they're beaten about the head and shoulders by the left and the right. If it weren't for double standards, the left would have none at all.
