To: Christie at the beach

Reminds me of my dad. Back in the mid 60’s, he was always receiving junk mail from an insurance company. It really torqued him off for some reason.
So, he took a cardboard box and loaded it up with cow manure. Placed the postage paid return envelope on the box with a letter:
“Stop sending me your crap, and I’ll stop sending you mine”.
He took it down to the post office, small town where everyone knew everybody and told them what he was doing. Of course back then they mailed it.
He received no more solicitation from that company.;-)

My dad kept getting junk from Good Sam travel club. He kept sending the junk back asking to be taken off the mailing list. Finally he taped their post paid envelope to a chunk of granite about the size of a nice pet tombstone with one more request adding “I have larger rocks.”

They took him off of the mailing list.
