Well, what exactly does working on gun control under the radar mean ? For one, it means supplying the Mexican Drug Cartels with military grade weapons so that more Americans and Mexicans are killed. What could be worse then that ? Actually drugging and guiding mass murderers ? Very possible.

The LA Times found out that Chris Manfredonia, whose 6-year-old daughter attends the school, was heading there Friday morning to help make gingerbread houses with first-graders when he heard popping sounds and smelled sulfur. He ran around the school trying to reach his daughter and was briefly handcuffed by police.
Chris Manfredonia was later reunited with his child, who had been locked in a small room with a teacher.

Not entirely, but pretty much so. The M14/M1A family of military and civilian rilfes uses standard 20 round magagazines. A shooter can load each magazine either by placing individual cartridges, one at a time, into it or by shoving five cartridges at a time into it from a feeder clip. Each feeder cllip is a strip of metal with two lengthwise flanges that fold into it leaving enough space under the rim of each flange for the rim of a cartridge and with enough space between them to contain the bodies of the cartridges. The clip is placed onto a strip of vertical metal attached to the magazine and the shooter pushes the cartridges from the clip into the magazine. IOW the clip is a rapid feeding device for the magazine.

At the press conference on December 15th 2012 the Medical Examiner of the state of Connecticut said unequivocally that the "long weapon", the rifle, was USED -- USED --USED to kill the 26 people. Got it!!! And that has not changed.

It may not fit the narrative they want to portray. We can’t have facts interfere with the story.
