The pink toy gun that blows soapy bubbles was not at school. They searched her backpack and found nothing. But it makes no difference whether it was at school or not. The person who persecuted this little girl for being a child showed a level of stupidity beyond understanding. The person who interrogated her until she cried and all others concerned should be fired and never allowed to work with children again. There is one word for this: evil.

This sort of abuse of a child is particularly sadistic ~ I think some criminal charges and prosecutions are in order.

We went through this ~ our kid was a bit older but the principal and vice principal went through their bully routine so I CALLED IN THE COPS. Took the officials a few moments to have it sink in I was making some criminal charges against them.

In the end I got rid of the principal. The VP took a little longer but we were dealing with a 'she' and one day she poked her finger in my chest ~ and that was the end of her career.

Find your targets and throw the book at them ~ whatever sticks will ruin their credit ratings at a minimum, and might get them fired, and you might possibly find a reason why they've got to be prosecuted.

That goes for abusive bosses, crazy school teachers, bully boy school administrators, stupid coaches, vicious neighbors ~ whatever. You don't have to stand there and take it from anybody ~ and you have a fundamental responsibility to defend your kids against the idiots!

Didn't have to shoot any of them, no matter how much they deserved it. Leave that to the police.

That teaches me to read more carefully - did not pick up that no “gun” pink or not was found and they punished the little 5 year old girl on her words alone. The whole incident was handled very poorly!
Thank you, freepers, for bringing this to my attention and reminding me to think before reacting!

“—Ficker said he has scheduled a meeting with a lawyer from the school board later this month to have the girl’s record expunged”

thats a good thing as this should never have gone that far in the first place! thank you again, Freepers!!
