He probably hired them because of affirmative action but fired them because they figured the company owed them something.

I think that the other reason is they were instigating strife with an in your face union attitude.
We regularly have breakfast with a group, many of which are “proud Democrats” and surely Obama voters. They’re already fussing about “that mess in Washington”. I’m sure the grousing about “our kids are losing their jobs and can’t find any” and “everything’s getting so high” and “blah, blah, blah”. It will be hard to resist the temptation to say “tough, proud Democrat”. (If the buffet at the restaurant goes up fifty cents, you’d think they’d been robbed; just wait until it goes up five dollars!) They wanted him; now they got him!
This story seems very familiar to me. Right down to the wording of what he posted. I think I saw it in a discussion on FR before the election. I think that discussion had the decision being made based on bumper stickers in the parking lot. There, too, the 0bamabots were independent contractors. Ring any bells with anybody? Just wondering if Mr. Lee posted his statement for laughs or if he really did it. While I’m in Utah, I don’t know him so have no way to judge. I support his actions if he did it the way he said.

Yeah I dont like this. Their performance should be the ultimate decider of fate. But very stupid for admitting his reasoning. In real life you can be fired for anything though.
I would never fire a good employee for being an Obama supporter. Then again, I can’t imagine an Obama supporter would ever be a good employee. These two were probably looking to get unemployment compensation anyway. The businessman did them a favor.
I’d be skeptical about giving a guy (who doesn’t know how to keep his mouth shut) my business! I mean, it’s improvident to broadcast your bias, if your in business. That’s just common sense!

I know a man that fired all the Obama voters that worked for him.
He’ a private consultant (makes a ton of money) and forewarned his accountants and lawyers, all off whom were odummie voters, that he would not longer require their services if the moron won.
He did, so they got the boot. He also changed cell phone vendors based on political donations.
