Hose them with red dye ... use garden sprayers or super soakers .. It's non-violent and exactly what they would do if the roles were reversed.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh the Super Soaker, those were the days. I still have none..no matter what anyone does, don’t squirt anyone with bubbles using a pink bubble blower, apparently if you do that’s considered a “terrorist act” according to some school districts
