Well, no it's not.

The name is Swahili, derived originally from Arabic. It means "blessed."

Arabic and Hebrew are closely related languages, but as you might imagine languages can change quite a bit over a couple thousand years.

Actually, since he is of Irish descent, the word “barrack” is derived from Gaelic, a gutteral sound made by the ancients after eating a large pile of haggis.
