Univision channel said on Friday Chavez was transferred from the intensive care unit to a secret underground bunker-hospital in Havana, which was designed for emergency medical assistance to Fidel Castro.

Sure, I could be wrong. But I have smelled more than the odor of death dealing with Chavez. I think they are training a body double replacement.
I suspected it during his first trip to Cuba for treatment. The before pictures simply did not match the after. Not close.
I questioned this then, but others told me it was him.

I agree with your approach. Saddam had body doubles. So did
Osama Bin Laden; as a matter of fact I do believe that the hurriedly disposed body who was allegedly the slain Osama Bin Laden was a body double, and I figure Obama knew it
and worked with Pakistan intelligence to give Seal Team 6 a false target. Osama is somewhere in the Hindu Kush in a mansion, kicking back and enjoying his dotage, as Al Qaeda is resurgent.
As far as Chavez having a body double, this very well could be the case. The Cubans also could be harvesting organs and installing them in Chavez to keep him alive, as has been likely done with Castro.
Body doubles are very much in use these days, IMHO.
Hopefully it’s the “dying in extreme pain” phase.
