Everything about the Won is creepy. We’re not watching it gloat. I’m not sure I’ll even turn on the tv. Maybe I’ll read an old American history book - to remind myself of what a great country we used to be.....

Woo BOY! Did I ever have a weird weekend!!!
Why? What happened?!
Oh great! I didn’t expect them to take the day off!
I didn’t either. I’m bummed, all set for a live show...
Oh well. This four-day weekend has been nice, did my errands on Friday and then staying in the rest of the time, reorganizing and cleaning here. Loading up those new shelves nicely. Sure trashing my bad knee but hey, been worth it. Going to do some dehydrating and canning today.
My daughter-in-laws dad passed away on January 13th. He was cremated so the memorial service was on Saturday at their church. DIL’s great-uncle (her grandfather’s twin brother - who is 82) - got up to give the eulogy. He collapsed in the middle of the eulogy. Everybody up front went running to help him. Next somebody is asking for medical assistance and two women start administering CPR. People on their cellphones calling 911. DIL’s mom goes running to get help and trips and splits her lip on a door. They can’t get the great-uncle’s heart started again. EMT’s arrive. I have a feeling the gr-uncle is already gone. Church full of people sitting their stunned. None of us want to get in the way. The man’s daughter and his grandkids are crying. It was awful. I think he was gone before they took him out of the church.

Oh my God... ugh, I can’t even imagine! What a heart break! Poor guy... Sure hope of the mom is ok.
Were you there for it? When my nephew was getting married, his grandmother tripped on the curb just before the wedding, took a header, broke ribs, hip and ankle. She was a mess but survived. That was bad enough, can’t imagine a funeral like that one.
Oh that is horrible! Very sad. Prayers up for the family. It’s more than stunning...eveyone must have been in a state of total shock and disbelief.
Is it really a repeat show? At first I thought it was but then Rose sounded live. Maybe she recorded this show last week?
No matter really. I don’t want to hear anything about the travesty going on in DC today. The little I had to pay attention to overnight was nothing but slavering worship of a pseudo messiah!
She’s fine. I felt terrible for the guy’s daughter and grandkids. My DIL had just gotten up to talk about her dad. She talked about her favorite memory of dancing with her dad at her wedding last year and then read the words to the song they danced to. Her uncle got up to speak right after her. Just half an hour earlier he was talking to the people a couple of rows in front of us and was smiling and healthy-looking. When he was talking, he bent over a bit and I thought he was messing around with the microphone. In retrospect, I think he was grasping at his chest. Poor man.
The minister finally had us all pray while they were working on him and before the EMT’s arrived. It was all surreal.
Brother told me to turn on the tv for the local news. Apparently, they’re going to talk about why he won’t take the oath on the bible. I kind of wondered if he did because of the pics.
Weather alert here: 20 to 30 degrees below zero wind chill, currently, -24. My brother isn’t thrilled.

The only good thing about this immaculation is that it’s the beginning of the Won’s last term. He can’t run again (though I won’t breath easy until he’s gone and the next president is in the White Hut.) Of course, if he’s not the anti-Christ, he might be the fore-runner; the one who is getting us conditioned for the Evil One!

Are you serious?! BO isn’t using a bible? I shouldn’t be surprised...
One thing to worry about is that after the next presidential election what will BO and his devoted followers do? It wouldn’t be surprising to see them ignore the election and remain loyal to him. Form a parallel government? Will he get his face on Mt Rushmore? Would his Dumbo ears even fit?

This year, when Mr. Obama takes his oath office, he will be using two Bibles — one that was owned by Abraham Lincoln, and one that belonged to Dr. King. In addition, he will be facing the Lincoln Memorial, where King delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech 50 years ago.
Oh goody.
Can’t wait to see what he’s got planned for the next four years.
