What we really need is a relaxation of HIPAA privacy rules so that the doctors and shrinks can call family members and warn THEM of potential violence, from their patients!

If you are worried about your patients trusting you, the last thing you need is for conscientious mental health professionals caring for our combat veterans to get squishy in the face of obvious reality. They'll detect it in a heartbeat.
