A 15-year-old was arrested Sunday for killing a family just outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico Saturday evening using the weapon that's dominated much of the gun control conversation -- the AR-15 semi-automatic rifle.
An unidentified 15-year-old was arrested and charged for killing all five people. Several weapons were found inside the house, including a military style assault rifle.

I am interested in only one thing here;
Where did this kid obtain this alleged AR-15? Regardless of what type of firearm it was, where did he get it? Stolen? Purchased illegally? This has to have been determined by the police already. Or will be soon. I'll await that info. But if it does not fit the MSM's current narrative concerning firearms, I won't expect to hear squat.
The ABC radio news so totally in the tank for anti-Second Amendment forces, reported this on the hour as “Killed his entire family with an ASSAULT” weapon.
It sure was...he used it in an assault.
Otherwise it was just resting in place or used for hunting, target shooting etc.
Any other weapon he would’ve used to kill them would also be an “ASSAULT weapon”.
Assault baseball bats, knives, ropes (strangling), chloroform (rendering unconscious), pillows (smothering), etc etc etc.....
Chainsaws? Running over with vehicles? Name it, the list is endless.

No, actually, the media talked to firemen, who knew the family because the father was a chaplain at the prison and also offered counselling to firemen.
The firemen have been very willing to talk to the media.
Eric Griego, the brother of one of the victims (the father) and uncle of the perp, is an uber-liberal Democrat in the New Mexico legislature with ties to the Occupoopers.
How this is used will be telling.

The father was the volunteer chaplain at the nearby prison and also offered counseling to the local firemen. Maybe he had a lot of weapons for self-defense in case his counsel was not well accepted. Who knows? Well, I guess the local authorities know, but they aren’t saying, not until after the inauguration anyway.

. The boy said around midnight, he got a .22 caliber rifle from his parent's closet and shot his mother in the head while his younger brother slept next to her, according to police.
When the boy woke up, Griego said he shot him after delivering the news their mother was dead, police said.
The 15-year-old said he lost his sense of conscience and went to the bedroom his two younger sisters shared. There, he told investigators he shot his two younger sisters, as they laid crying in bed with the same rifle he used to kill his mom and brother.
The boy then said he got the AR-15 rifle from the closet and waited for his father to get home.
According to Griego, he hid and waited until his dad walked through the door around 5 a.m., and shot him in the back multiple times with the rifle.
Why are you posting a story about a killing in New Mexico 22 years ago? Are you deliberately trying to confuse people?
So what, the firemen are more reliable than the neighbors and the name of the shooter and the relationship to the victims has been out since last night.

Sgt Alvin York used a M1917 Enfield (6 round magazine) and a M1911 Colt .45 pistol (7 round magazine).

Update, the shooter was the son of the 2 dead adults and brother of the 3 dead children. Why a family member would wipe out his own family is beyond my understanding. The guns are likely the fathers. The family had no prior contacts with the local police, the parents had jobs & went to church.
