Ariz. bill would outlaw US firearms enforcement.

PHOENIX - With the threat of new federal gun control laws and regulations looming, a state legislator wants to provide legal cover for Arizonans who do not want to obey them - and penalize federal officials who try to enforce them.

The proposal by Rep. Steve Smith, R-Maricopa, makes it illegal for any public servant to enforce "any act, law, statute, rule or regulation" of the federal government relating to personal firearms or accessories within the boundaries of Arizona. It defines public servants to include not just state and local employees but also legislators, judges, jurors, witnesses and consultants who perform government functions.

Another provision extends the prohibition to include federally licensed firearms dealers.

There would be no penalty for any of those individuals for violating the proposed law. Smith said HB 2291 would instead provide a defense for those who believe the Second Amendment precludes any new rules.

However, for federal employees or officials, another provision would make it a felony, punishable by a year in state prison, to enforce those same gun regulations.

I’m going to write to my representatives in the state legislature and suggest they provide us similar legal cover.

I live in Maricopa and Steve Smith is my representative. He’s done a good job so far IMO.

I think state’s rtghts (10th Amendment) is how you’re going to defeat the gun control issue. Knowing how much politicians love attention if people were to really show support for Rep. Smith’s proposed bill and it was all over the MSM other politicians would follow suit bandwagon style. If you ot a large percentage of the states on board with this it might stop O in his tracks. Problem with O is you have to think like a conman to anticipate all of his moves. You know he will try to inflame the issue by having the MSM launch a campaign to show mass shootings in schools with children preying on many of the people’s deepest fears to be followed up with interviews by same with so-called experts on gun control issues and the mothers of the children that were shot who will of course be crying on national TV. Then he will have Congressmen interviewed who support him on this. Then have his propaganda team go online and make posts everywhere on social networking sites to polarize the masses and create dissension and demonize gun owners. It’s always the same crap; what we need is a a news syndicate to find proof of his deception and use of the tactics to deceive people and call him on it.

I swear Obama will take a rebellious state, an under populated state like Wyoming and will bring in a massive force that will simply remove all the states cabinet, place them in a temporary minimum security holding area courtesy of FEMA and will take of the Capitol.

Send a message to the people, resistance is futile, supremacy trumps all laws constitutional or not.

This is almost like the whole state’s rights with marijuana issue.

Look up state nullification. It’s been done before. The state legislatures have a right to nullify any law that is in opposition to the Constitution.

I*’m wondering if this bill would include NFA weapons.

At which point RW2 will start.

What Obama is shooting for in the long run. You have to remember, he is community agitator from the get go.

If he wants RW2, he’s a bigger fool than I could ever have imagined. If revolution breaks out, he becomes legitimate assassin target #1.

If so, then he is the biggest idiot ever hatched. The lefties have NO IDEA how outnumbered they are. They live in their echo chamber world where all they hear is one side of the story, and think they are a majority. But most of their "base" is useless eaters. Out in "bitter clinger land" it is still "root hog or die", and people actually know how to do things.

It's "better" than that...there is no right to keep and use marijuana in the Constitution.

2 registration
3. confiscation
4. Extermination
