Entitlement spending. Transfer payments. So-called “mandatory” spending. These include, btw, Social Security.

The “general welfare” clause should be interpreted strictly and enforced. The federal government should be prohibited from giving money to individuals and households. It is a false morality, and bad economic practice, for the government to take wealth and labor from one neighbor to give it to a another neighbor, even if that latter neighbor is legitimately needy and deserving.

Let neighbors give directly to neighbors. All government taking and giving is, in the end, merely a mechanism of gross voter manipulation, political patronage, and outright theft from one class by another.

Why start there, as every other legal-pretzel twists the verbiage of the Preamble (let alone the PROMOTING not PROVIDING).

Course, if we actually had Oath takers that read, understood and followed A1 S8, I doubt we’d need a forum such as F.R.
