If it’s standard procedure for “live” musical performances to be recorded, why have the “live” performance at all? Wouldn’t it be a lot cheaper to just play the recording?
This is a little like the bicyclists’ drug-use issue: if they’re all doing it, everyone knows, and the audience doesn’t give a hoot, did it really happen?
