Dozens of people lined up outside a South Austin gun shop Monday. They fear this new presidential term will mean tougher gun laws.

Monday morning dozens of people lined up outside Central Texas Gun Works in South Austin. Some waited as long as five hours to get the chance to purchase a part to make an AR-15.

"Lower receivers seem to be sold out throughout the nation so as soon as you find out one's in stock like the line shows, everybody rushes for them," gun owner Jeremy Paul said.

>From the World Health Organization:
The latest Murder Statistics for the world:
Murders per 100,000 citizens

I have been looking for the source for this, lots of sites have it posted, nobody has a source link.

Anybody have it?

Thanks.

[[Guns are plentiful in the Philippines and I will bet that most of the other countries above the US also allow private gun ownership.]]

You may be correct, or perhaps it was an old list, where gun bans were at soem point a reality- as I said in my post about it, I didn’t know if any of it was true or not-

[[Not going to work through your whole list, but not true as to Mexico.

The facts are strong enough in our favor. No reason to make up easily disprovable stories - unless one is an undercover liberal.]]

Well i didn’t make anyhtign up- I simply reposted what I got in email and said clearlythat I didn’t know if any of it was true or not- but I think we can likely safely assume that some of those stats might be true as many coutnries have infact banned guns and crimes have soared- Britain beign one place, australia too-

If soem of thsoe stats are true, then only a small list really is needed to make the case that where guns are banned, crimes and murders increasde becauser law abiding citizens now becoem defenselss victims of armed criminals liek in chicago, cali, NY districts and burrows, etc etc

I agree- the right does have many strong arguments to use, however, I think a lsit might be an important coutner argument to the claim that bannign guns reduces crimes- we just need to make sure htel sit is correct- Suppoisedly the WHO put out htis list- I can’t verify that though-

Mags are relatively easy to manufacture, those guys will catch up quickly. You can find quality metal mags online, and I’ve seen guys get deliveries on ordered mags in 2-3 week.

Get 5-10 mags and then BLOAT when ammo drops a little.

The trouble is [and you can’t blame them] hoarding.

Several places in out area have put limits on what you can purchase per visit as people are waiting in line before the stores open and cleaning them out..
