What I do care about, is people. People who are wounded. Wounded by any given religion. I care about them enough to ask them to consider serious counseling. Posting this stuff will never help you past this demon that lurks inside you.

In my lifetime, the Mormons that I have known, worked with and befriended have been as good a group of people as I've ever encountered -- honest, honorable, hard-working and good-hearted, with what any Christian would call admirable family values.

Those who post quotes directly from mormon teachings, videos, and their books is hatred......what an odd definition of hatred.
If you really feel that what is said about mormonism is incorrect, please post from their own words why what is documented is incorrect.

Like you said, I've known a few "nice guys" who were Mormons. More like a hundred-or-so.

I've been to Mormon church services.

I've read the Book of Mormon.

Nowhere but here on FreeRepublic have I ever encountered "the teachings, videos and their books" that you say are inspiring such hatred.

All of this strikes me as a pathetic exercise in ignorance and intolerance.

You are mistaken in most of your premises. I find Islam, for example, to be far more objectionable than any other religion -- but I do not make it my lifes work to 'save people from Islam'. Heck, I don't make it my lifes work to 'save people' from anything. People will be damaged by many things during a lifetime. I cannot save them from the pain during, or the pain after. I care about people, though, and in that regard I will share my experience, strength, and hope.

Elsie seems tortured by a previous association with Mormonism. I've been tortured by other things in my past, but I got assistance in those areas. I'm suggesting that he or she get help like I got help.

Would you please provide an example of hatred. I actually know of no one who hates mormons. I know I do not.
I know many mormons, both family and friends.
mormons do not have church services they have ward and temple.
Exposing momronISM is not intolerant nor ignorant it is just exposure.
So again, I will ask. What that has been posted from mormon sources do you find inaccurate, that you feel it necessary to call the posters of mormon information intolerant, ignorant and hate mongers.

But from what I witnessed over the past year here, half of Free Republic. Some FReepers did more to demonize Romney than any combination of Comedy Central Yucks.

Actually, if you review the posts of those Freepers, you'll find that most of them were providing a factual retelling of the History of Romney, including his support of Abortion and the Gay Agenda after he won the primary.

But don't let the facts get in the way of your diatribe against Freepers who were telling the truth.

You do realize that Elsie has proven these heresys over and over again using the founding documents of Mormonism and the historical statements of the elders, bishops, and other leaders of the of the Mormon Church.

You also realize, I hope, that God himself hates heresy because it leads those caught up in those heresys to end up in Hell or eternal damnation, right?

But you don't seem concerned that those being led down the false path of Mormonism aren't worshipping the God of the Bible, but a God made up by Joseph Smith?

They're being led down the primrose path to Hell, by a religion more concerned about their works, than salvation provided by Grace and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
