I just called Speaker Boehner’s office and asked him to stop the sale of the F 16s and tanks to Egypt. The lady said there was nothing he could do that the money was already appropriated. I told her I'm sure there is something he can do. We are going to be complicit in the murder of the people of Cairo. We have stopped dealing with rogue nations before and we can do it again.

I've been watching the demonstration in Cairo live. It is huge. This is a powder keg waiting to go off. Now that it is night, they have the assault weapons out. Earlier you could see the size of this crowd. They panned the whole area and the crowd went on for miles and miles.

I believe the money Speaker Boehner’s office is talking about was appropriated while Mubarak was still in charge. This is a different regime and I believe Congress could stop this.

I don’t even hear the Republicans coming out against this.
They could at least speak out against it.

The left would be hilarious if they weren't so tragic. The same people that support Obama to the limit have criticized the republicans in the past for selling "weapons" to Iraq in the 80's. Never mind that we never sold any weapons. We gave them intelligence information and satellite imaging on Iranian troop movements because they were losing the war and our national interest at that time lied in the war ending in stalemate with neither country dominating the middle east.

I'm sure the facts won't get in the way of this story either. When M-1 Abraham tanks are crushing protestors, I'm sure that somehow it will be George Bush's fault that they have them.
