The power companies with coal and/or nuclear generation that is presently running and in service, should all secretly get together “behind closed doors” kinda like what old Cuomo does there in NY and decide what day, hour, minute and second that they are to going be ALL shut down in unison...kinda like the liberal flashmob thingy they like to pull....and left down until the communist azzhats in DC “get the message”. Time to play hardball. Hopefully, they’d pick the hottest day of the year...you know, just to give the mainstream Pravda something to sensationalize for the “unwashed” sheeple.

It would mean we could actually support that lifestyle without having to rely on a doomed welfare state to try support it.

It would definitely force their hand to do so. Not that I doubt for one second that they wouldn’t. However, it takes many highly-trained and skilled personnel to run and maintain those places. Whadda they gonna do, run it at gunpoint? That certainly would go over well with the employees. Can you spell, sabotage?

Yours appears to be almost 25% higher.
