IDK the particular virtues, more or less, of this homeowner, but take note: Identical scenes were enacted in the Great Depression, when neighbors and friends, sometimes with shotguns at the ready, defended hardworking neighbors who were down on their luck, from such evictions by the local sheriff, acting as the agent of some banker. How did that differ from this event? Would you have mocked them too?

While the Obama economy has tanked, there are a lot of ordinary people left holding the bag. Unemployment like we have today leads to many hardships, like good people who did not want to default, being unable to pay their mortgage. It is a travesty to bail out banks and not bail out individuals.
