My advice is this kid. Do not make that decision yet. Wait until you wake one night from a nocturnal emission and see that erection with your own eyes before you decide to mutilate yourself.
The parents of this kid need a thrashing.

Homosexuality and transgenderism [or whatever it's called] are realities and must be addressed. But shoving the decisions down to children who, as you point out, don't even know what sex is, is truly an abdication of parenthood.
