Good morning!

Durango passed so I'm happy. Today's fun and games is looking into getting an auto knife,... stiletto or switchblade. It has to be a good knife that can sharpen but I don't want to spend more than $40. It has to be small enough to fit in my pocket and I prefer a pocket clip.

Figure I better stock up on knives before BO makes them illegal too.

Morning! Woohoo! I’m glad to hear the Durango passed! We’ve been hearing about that Durango since the beginning of this thread four years ago! It’s like an old friend! LOL!

Morning A Morgan! I’m glad to see you posting again!

I checked my paycheck online. It went back up again, minus two dollars. I admit I’m puzzled! I don’t make that much, so what they took out last time was too much. Must be another explanation. In our county, we have what is called a “privilege tax” $52.00 a year. It’s an old tax that goes way way back in the history of Indiana County. It’s a ‘privilege’ to work in the county, I guess! lol! They were taking it out $2.00 each pay. Maybe they took out a lump sum. In that case, I’d be glad to get it over with.

Good morning A.M! Where have you been...hibernating during the cold out your way, LOL.

Sneakers my pay and Mrs p6’s are up and down too. The next one should be more representative of normal pay.

Rose is talking about the background checks. Those knives I mentioned also require at least a form of ID! For a freaking knife!

The traffic girl at work bought a Walther ppk I think. It’s a James Bond gun. Not a good starter weapon! She better learn how to maintain it. I bet she won’t even go to a rsnge for training...

Rose is right! That poor little 5 yo girl with the “Hello Kitty” bubble gun will now have to live with it for the rest of her life! The people at that school should be brought up on charges of child mental abuse!

Son called last night. He was on his way back from Pittsburgh. He had just looked at a townhouse in Lawrenceville. He and wife will be moving there in March. She has a job interview coming up plus just sent out a lot of resume’s. He has a job lined up with a bank down there. They are both working locally. I sure hope they get jobs down in Pittsburgh soon, or they will be commuting back here for awhile! Son says not to worry, they have a lot saved up. I hope so!

And thhe guy in DC who saved that boy from bring mauled by dogs...now he faces charges! What the he77 happened too sanity?

Ican’t help but think that some ofthese incidents like the girl with the bubble gun are to get kids conditioned to going along with authorites no matter how stupid and illogical.

Saw this on Yahoo Shine the othrr day and want to try it.

The simplest and best roast chicken

It is REALLY simple! Basically cut a lemon on half, put it inside the bird and roast at 500(!) degrees for 50-60 minutes.

Oooooooo! I think maybe I’ll try that. Mr S likes to do his chicken in a rotisserie, but I’d like to try Kafka’s method!
