Love Nugent but I think he's got it a little wrong. The 2nd Amendment is not about hunting or basic self-defense. 1780's America had those as a given. The 2nd is about the government not adhering to its responsibility to the people. The 2nd is in answer to what just happened to cause the revolution. The second is the ability of the people to say "you have gone too far" and under our constitution we have enough force to say "Stop".
When do we reach that point? Not my call. Different people in the revolution reached that point at different times.

The local hardware store? Pretty much anywhere rifle ammo is sold.
Found something I agree with bloomers on: if you can kill a deer in two shots you shouldn’t be out there.
But the 2d has nothing to do with deer.
