(CNN) -- One of the most infamous defendants in U.S. trials of recent years took two big steps Friday toward clearing her name, and she vowed to "keep fighting."
Florida's 5th District Court of Appeal threw out two of Casey Anthony's four convictions of lying to authorities as they investigated the disappearance of Anthony's 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.
The appeals judges agreed with Anthony's argument that the multiple convictions amounted to double jeopardy. But the judges upheld the other two convictions.

Did she kill her child? I have no idea nor do I care. I have not read or followed this story (no TV since 99, no “news” radio anymore either). This is tabloid crap which serves no purpose other than making money for the media so they can fund more anti-conservative propaganda.
While there is no doubt that Casey Anthony did kill her child, all the evidence suggest the intent wasn’t there to kill, probably negligent homicide or something of that nature.

I guess everyone just happens to look up chloroform etc. on their computer.
You can use chloroform to knock out people, not intending to kill them. That’s not proof of deadly intent. That just helps confirm her party-hearty attitude and wanting her kid out of the way for a few hours each night.
If the prosecutor had gone after negligent homicide, she likely would have been found guilty and have been sentenced to 25 years.

Perhaps. However, you still have to find her innocent or guilty based on what can be proven, not what you think she should be guilty of.
Half right, the court through the decision of a jury have to find her guilty or innocent based on the evidence shown. I however as an imperfect individual can and do still consider her a murdering sack of flesh. You have your opinion and I have mine. Please have a happy life, you will not change my mind. A jury found OJ not guilty also and I still consider him a murdering sack of flesh.

Gotta agree with you on this. I didn't follow the Scott and Lacy Peterson tv drama either. Greta Van Scientology Sustrand was all Peterson, all the time, so much so, that I quit watching her show. She may still be talking about it for all I know.
A jury found Casey Anthony "not guilty" that may or may not be the case, I don't really care one way or another, she will face a higher Judge some day, He knows the truth.
So what’s the result? She has already completed her sentence for all 4 convictions, right? Does she now get to sue the state for wrongful imprisonment?
