“With all due respect, the fact is we have four dead Americans. What does it matter if it was this family of four that was shot by home invaders or if the family had shot them with their B-52 assault things? What difference at this point does it make?”
OR the sensitive Stupid Republican version:
“With all due respect, the fact is we have an American woman who was raped. What does it matter if it was done by a crowd of militant Muslims or just a gang of black guys looking for something to do? What difference at this point does it make?”
So in the same breath she says “what difference does it make” and “it’s our job to find out what happened.”

It makes a huge difference because it goes directly to the competence and honesty of the 0bama administration. You are right, it is our job to figure out what happened and do everything we can to prevent it from ever happening again, and that starts with you telling the truth, Madame Secretary. Now - let's start again.

What difference does it make?
If I had been on the panel I would have responeded to that with:
Let’s ask the loved ones of those killed what difference it makes. And in lieu of their answer let’s send Chelsea to Libya to replace the ambassador. While we’re at it let’s ask Vince Foster’s and Ron Brown’s loved ones what difference it makes how they died. And why stop there? Let’s ask Paula Jones, Juanita Broaddrick etc, what it matters that they were raped/molested?
I know all the above wouldn’t have made it out because her head would have exploded at some point.
