A better title: Expect Civil Disobedience if Politicians Try to Undermine the Second Amendment

I see no reason for disobedience to tyranny to be civil.

Laws. Do they really matter anymore?

I’m reminded of the illegal immigrant. Suppose to against the law for them to be in this country, however they can work, get health care, send their kids to public schools and probably in some states get a drivers license. Go figure.

Civil disobedience? Hell, they better expect a full blown war if they don’t stop messing with our Rights. People aren’t stocking up on ammo and guns just to turn them in meekly. America is getting ready to water the Liberty Tree once again.

Our elected officials need to take a step back and think hard on their current course of action. That worm they think they’re poking is not a worm at all. It’s the tail of a sleeping dragon... and it’s waking up. Our elected officials better learn their place soon before it fully wakes up because they’re gonna be crispy and they’re good with ketchup.

Me too also.
I think maybe they have over reached this time. I know no one who is going to voluntarily surrender their firearms or themselves. If Finestein's plan passes, I really expect to see more than a few Ruby Ridges or Wacos or maybe even Athens. Maybe even a Ft Sumter.
However we shall see.

Waiting for Feinstein to growl “You’ll obey the law or else go to jail, or worse. I mean it!”

It is imperative that Finstein's bill comes to a vote in both houses. Write your congressman or senator to URGE the voting on this piece of legislation.

I want to know who the enemy is. I am sick and tired of congress being allowed to hide their allegiance because they aren't forced to say yes or no on something.

Plus...I want her bill to be strongly defeated...which it will be. Congress is not that dumb. They understand all to well what will happen if they over-reach.

Iwill wait and hold my judgement on how many will be disobedient until after the first few examples have been made.

First we know that the first few raids will result in guns confiscated, loss of jobs, going to court, hiring lawyers, and perhaps jail time.

After the first round of examples, how many will then decide to join those who got made an example of,How many will decide to then give up their weapons, or how many will realize that the only way to fight this will be to organise secretly and set a few examples ourselves.

“Expect” is too mild a word - you can “count” on civil disobedience if the Feds/States try to follow through.

If the law is illegitimate, you’re not defying the law.

Question 46 in the wide-ranging survey of more than 1,000 registered voters asks if there is a gun in the household. Overall, 52 percent of the respondents said yes, someone in their home owned a gun. That number included 65 percent of Republicans, 59 percent of conservatives, 38 percent of Democrats and 41 percent of liberals.

The numbers are higher, count on it. People lie about gun ownership.

In a time of lawlessness, those who practice the law (lawyers) and those who make the law (politicians) are useless.

How many will decide to then give up their weapons...

I expect the number of boating accidents, with the loss of all camping/hunting equipment, to spike.

YOU could be that FIRST EXAMPLE you are speaking of. Never say NEVER.
