I agree with your post, but I see the problem as deeper and more widespread than ‘the treasonous left’ that you identify. They are one animal in the zoo. It is also a corrupted and apostate Puritanism that worships the State instead of Calvin’s God, which at least kept them somewhat in line. Secular New England metastasized throughout the culture, more deeply in some places than in others. It is also the Beast on the Potomac, which has become the very epitome of the Founders’ worst nightmares.
The fight would go deeper than our bone marrow. It goes all the way to the American soul.

The Vichy Republicans in Washington are as culpable for the current state of the nation, as the far-left liberals who've authored our nation's downfall. They compromised and 'reached across the aisle' to accommodate the treasons of the left so often, that it became their standard operating basis. Real conservatives arriving in Washington are soon given the 411 to play ball, or be sidelined into oblivion.
In such an environment, representative government is impossible.
The rank and file on the right needs to become totally cognizant of the fact that the 'game' has slowly been rigged to thwart the will of the majority and forward the left's Communist goals with little to no opposition. Our national elections have thus become a complete sham. We, the majority, are currently disenfranchised from the political process, due to the collusion of agendas between the Democrats and Republicans in Congress.
If that doesn't somehow change from within, it will be changed from without.
