I pray that you and I both have a happier outcome. Our field at this time is the arena of ideas. The MSM currently hold the high ground, but our ideas are stronger, tested and more enduring. Have we so little faith in the value of these ideas that we will not make the effort to take the high ground?
I’ve occupied the high ground for quite some time. I’ve been a gentleman, a pensive citizen, a teacher, a husband. I’ve voted on my morals, remained ethical in my decisions, and lived a spiritually fulfilled life.
The gutter sniping has consumed the media and the public. The high-ground is now so high as to be forgotten. Unless you deign to their level, you get no where in conversation with either side of the arguments.
It’s been said several times that the only language Leftists and Communists understand is violence. I pray it never comes to that, but my soul is prepared for it when it does.
