Apparent GOP winner Paul McKinley spent 20 years in prison for armed robbery amongst other things.

But, but, McKinley is no GOP-E. The other candidates once shook hands with someone who was elected to office once, do they must be Combiners. Only a felon can be trusted to be true to conservstism.
Why did so many Republicans vote for a felon? Were they unaware of his crimes, or did they think that the crimes aren’t important?
