I would not be surprised if she abdicates. Queen Beatrix is widowed and she will turn 75 this week. Her mother Queen Juliana abdicated on her 71st birthday and lived another 24 years. Also, Queen Beatrix’s second son Friso was critically injured last year in an avalanche and is in a coma, so the past year as been very difficult for her.
My ancestors were thrown out of every country in Europe. If you look at this Prince, you’ll see that he looks a lot like my Uncle Bill. My ancestors weren’t rich, but they were good looking and everyone in my family can still dress while running from palace guards.
IF so who will take her place at the Build-A-Burger meeting next year?
Will Queen Elizabeth take the hint?
I think she is waiting for that jug-eared, half-wit son of hers to die first...
He'd better hurry up.
Queen Elizabeth’s mother lasted to 100, I think; and, Elizabeth, herself, seems quite healthy for her age. Charles may be waiting a while for his crown, which may actually be a good thing for everyone if his “reign” was very short.
How bizarre. He DOES look like your Uncle Bill.
