President Obama called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday to offer his reserved congratulations on the Likud party's victories in Israel's recent parliamentary elections, the White House said.
Obama, the White House said in its readout of the call, lauded Netanyahu on "his party’s success in winning a plurality of Knesset seats."

Bibi should congratulate Barry on his “victory with a greatly reduced margin purchased with Obamaphones”.
Actually, the parties in the current ruling coalition won an outright majority.
Should Bibi have congratulated the President on his party’s coming close to winning a majority of seats in the House of Representatives? Or, is it best to just let a fool make a fool of himself?
