CNN’s Piers Morgan, a British citizen, has been in the news lately for his views on gun control. He’s for it.
He’s not so big on the U.S. Constitution.
As he made clear in this exchange with Breitbart’s Ben Shapiro. At one point, Morgan picked up a booklet copy of the U.S. Constitution Shapiro had brought with him, saying:
Morgan: “…you come in and brandish your little book…”
Shapiro: “That’s the Constitution of the United States.”
Later in the show was this exchange as Shapiro made the point about tyrannical governments turning on their own citizens:
Morgan: Are you saying you really believe your own government is going to turn on you in a way that you require an AR-15 to challenge them (garbled)…
When Shapiro says governments have in fact turned on people, citing the French Revolution in the 19th century and the rise of Nazis and Fascists in Germany, Italy, and Spain in the 20th century, Morgan is incredulous.

Caught a few minutes of him last night. He had a NYC official on and it was about gun control, as always.
Exchange went something like this:
Official: Well, the representatives in Congress have to do vote in line with the desires of their constituents.
King George: Well, there’s where I disagree. I think once a while our representatives ought to tell the People what they need to hear ....
So, according to King George Pierce, our leaders should be able to disregard the will of the People and decide what is best for them, then vote accordingly. Never mind bothering with representation.

For those who don't know, Piers Morgan was fired from his job from a UK paper [Daily Mail?] because of falsifying stories on the US government 'torturing' prisoners at Abu Garab (sp?)
Guess he thought he'd skeedalle over to this side of the Pond to pretend he still had some type of journalistic *standing*.
Why anyone would give a tinker's damn about what this lying sack of excrement has to say is beyond me, but I'll happily applaud anyone who puts Musket Morgan in his place!

The Congress passed Obama care when 65% of the population was opposed to it. They are not about to start listening to their constituents.
He’s also hiding out over here because the Brits are pretty ticked off about his involvement with the hacking of Sir Paul McCartney’s cell phone voice mail while the ugly divorce with The Stork was going on.
