Looks like Pittsburgh had better do some real hiring if they want to win any pennants this century.

Not really. All they need to do is stop exhaling (creating carbon dioxide) and the number of pirates should start going back up.

I have only seen one Pirates baseball game (I was on TDY to Pittsburgh for work). They were playing the Cleveland Indians (or Chicago, I don’t remember which) in the old stadium and the fans were razzing Albert Belle big time.

Then he got up to bat. He hit a ball so hard (hit the second level wall at the seats to my right and down one level), that the stadium literally shook.

There was NO MORE razzing after that!

That’s my Pirates story and I’m sticking to it.
