Syria and Iran have threatened to retaliate for an Israeli air raid near the capital Damascus.
Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdul-Karim Ali said Damascus has "the option and the surprise to retaliate." He said he cannot predict when the retaliation will be, saying it is up to relevant authorities to prepare for it.
In Iran, the semi-official Fars news agency quoted Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian on Thursday as saying the raid on Syria will have significant implications for the Israeli city of Tel Aviv.

They both have their hands full.
And both have a history of threatening beyond their capabilities
They were transporting weapons to strike Israel anyway and Israel stopped it, who cares if they now threaten to do what their intent was to begin with.
Remember the Syrians mixing chemical weapons and they have to be used in 6 weeks or so? What happened to them? The media is just crap. Was Obama lying about seeing the chemicals mixed to start some crap? Would they mix a bunch of chems and not use them? What's going on with these important stories? Is the Boy Scouts going Rainbow the big story this month?
They just bring up a mention of a huge story and then forget about it.
This just might be the excuse that Israel needs to deal with Iran...once and for all.
“-—the option and the surprise-—” That’s funny right there. The Syrian rebels have their mojo together pretty good now. Any grouping of Basher’s ( Iranian) thugs will get immediate attention and Bibi won’t even have to fire up the Merkavas. And this dumbass hiding out in Lebanon thinks Basher can whip up a surprise on the Israelis anyway——he oughta read the papers.
