Is there ANYTHING in that law that is not more cynical or more insincere than any similar measure in the past?
Even the very name is a study in oxymorons. The patients are not protected, and the care, where any is made available at all, is far less than affordable. Mostly, the law depends on denial of services, and applying taxes where none existed before.
But we have it on good authority that this measure, being about taxes and not about delivery of medical care, is therefore Constitutional.
