I used to live out there. The Acreage is an area with no street lights, most homes are on dirt roads and are on a minimum of 1.13 acres. It is unincorporated and there are no local police. Last I knew, there were about 4 Palm Beach County Sheriff's officers responsible for all of the Acreages’ 40,000 residents. Pefley was a moron for going out there at night and he knows better.

When I visit friends, out there, I call first and then announce my arrival with a horn blast signal!
