Report: Secret Service director to resign today

NBC News’ Kristen Welker reported via Twitter Friday afternoon that “Secret Service Director Mark Sullivan will announce his resignation today according to multiple sources.”

Sullivan has overseen the Secret Service since 2006 and was its director during the agency’s high-profile prostitution scandal last year.

12 Secret Service agents and several other military personnel were allegedly involved with prostitutes in Cartagena, Colombia in April 2012. Those agents were sent there to set up advance security ahead of a visit by President Obama.

The SS scandal hit at the same time Obama agreed to a Columbian free trade agreement which had been high on the list of Bush's priorities. Obama had procrastinated on the agreement because it would have angered his base.

A black female SS "whistle-blower" was responsible for reporting the scandal.

I always thought this was very interesting timing.

And in other news, Mr holder has announced that the new black panthers will be providing the one’s security in his second term.
The Secret Service has been disbanded to save the taxpayers money.

And we never hear about folks in high places getting their security clearances pulled - most of us would be flagged to ensure we never get within 1000’ of anyone privy to classified if we had the same “resumes” as many in the actual government. For sure, if Obama formally applied for a clearance, there would not be enough trackable data to even get started - they would laugh, but wouldn’t grant a clearance.

I’m sure his parting words at the going-away luncheon were something to the effect of, “Pay your hooker! I can’t emphasize this enough!”
