Moderate Repub. Ha-ha-ha.

He should, instead, think of working on his stand-up routine and hit the club circuit.

“Geraldo Rivera declares himself a ‘moderate Republican’ as he eyes U.S. Senate run”

Maybe he meant ‘modern Republican’.

As an aside, where are all of the moderate Democrats? Maybe there aren’t any.

Remember.....this whore gave the whereabouts of a mission, drawing it in beach sand, if I remember correctly. He let the enemy know where they were and would be heading.

A friends son was in that troop...and was killed in action. FU whore.

Let’s see if I have this straight. He’s a moderate Republican. Ergo, he is in favor of Obamacare, gay marriage, open borders, unlimited government, much higher taxes, more social spending, the elimination of the Defense Department, the repeal of the Second Amendment, thinks compromise means Pelosi is a right wing loon and thinks every live birth represents a failure of the first order.

Geraldo Rivera declares himself a 'moderate Republican' as he eyes U.S. Senate run

Slapping that 'republican' tag onto Bloomberg helped make him mayor of NYC.

But I never voted for Bloomberg, and I sure as hell won't vote for Geraldo Rivera.

Rivera's probably trying to make sure that Booker gets the seat.

Heh, Good one Herraaallldo.

Well, maybe he is a Moderate Republican... since it seems these days that moderate republicans are socialists that don’t quite worship Marx, Lenin and Mao, but kinda like Castro and Chavez.

That think that the Constitution was OK for its time, but kinda outdated for the last 50 years....

That think if the USA were just a little more generous giving money and praise to its enemies, and open its borders to all comers that it wouldn’t be such a mean country.

A “moderate” Republican? We already have too many of them.

Not much better than a run-of-the-mill democrat.

“I endorsed the economic platform of Romney/Ryan in 2012 because Democrats were denying the deficit and decrying necessary changes in federal entitlements. Unfettered, theirs is a recipe for generational catastrophe. To pretend the government can just print money is untenable and irresponsible.

“But I voted for Obama/Biden because the fiscal threat posed by the Democrats seemed less immediate then the GOP’s intrusion into the private space of abortion, as well as Republicans’ opposition to both the inevitability of immigration reform and the rights of gay people to get married. Those things I believe, so how am I a Republican?”

And since the Republican party has zero requirements for party membership or candidates Jerry Rivers, Michael Bloomberg or even Martin Sheen could call themselves Republicans and run for office with the full backing of the GOP elites.

Heck they don’t even require loyalty as we saw with the Lisa Murkowski debacle.

Laugh all we want to but remember before the republican primaries started, we also laughed at Romney’s chances of winning the nomination.

“But I really do believe, as a moderate Republican, there is a point of view that is unrepresented in states like New Jersey. There can be a new vitalization of the Republican party.”

“vitalization”- a nice euphemism for prancing to the left. If that is what it takes to make the Republicans ‘vital’, then the GOP isn’t worth saving or taking over.
