For more than three decades, Chinese women have been subjected to their country's brutal one-child policy. Those who try to have more children have been subjected to fines and forced abortions. Their houses have been razed and their husbands fired from their jobs. As a result, Chinese women have a fertility rate of 1.54. Here in America, white, college-educated women—a good proxy for the middle class—have a fertility rate of 1.6. America has its very own one-child policy. And we have chosen it for ourselves.
Forget the debt ceiling. Forget the fiscal cliff, the sequestration cliff and the entitlement cliff. Those are all just symptoms. What America really faces is a demographic cliff: The root cause of most of our problems is our declining fertility rate.

The oddest thing about Americans refusing to breed is that the tax deductions they miss puts them into such high tax levels that they are subsidizing (via freebies) their “replacements”.

Opportunity vs. Self
Many immigrants have lots of kids. They see the US as a golden opportunity for a better life. The future is much brighter here compared to where they came from.
Native US are self-absorbed, “it will never be better than right now”, fear of the future.
Oh yeah, almost forgot,
lots of people here kill their kids before they’re born.

My daughter has 4, and many of her friends are having more than just 2. I think they realize that it’s just the two siblings and they would have liked more. Of course, those families with more kids are working in more stable jobs.
I think that describes “lost reason and faith” pretty well.

College-educated women are a good proxy for flippin’ liberals, not the middle class. Liberals females don’t reproduce. In the liberal hellhole of Seattle, for example, there’s more dogs than children. Liberal college-educated liberals don’t have kids in Seattle. They adopt dogs from shelters.
Why do you think the rats want wide-open immigration? Liberal rats don’t reproduce. They need voters because they’re aborting their neo-fascist culture out of existence.
The latest demographics show that Republicans, patriots and conservatives dominate 30 states. Those states represent the majority of the population in the US. Conservative women are out- producing their liberal counterparts in the leftist cities and states by miles.
The liars at the census bureau have been pushing out propaganda for decades. There are entire states where not a single rat holds a state-wide office.
My wife is about as educated as you can get. Engineer, Masters from Johns Hopkins. We have 3 kids and would have had more but for serious complications with two of the births. We live in Boston, about as liberal as you can get. Most of our friends have 2 kids. It is unusual to see 3 or more. At least 2 is better than 1 or none...
