More than 40 Hollywood politicos -- including Barbra Streisand, James Brolin and Haim Saban -- gathered Thursday night at a closed-door meeting at Norman Lear's Westside mansion, where they heard Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi lay out the party’s plans for recapturing the House in the 2014 mid-terms.

I seriously doubt the politico is “planning strategy” with hollywood. Unless that strategy is raising bucks. Babs may be encouraged to think her counsel is valuable, but it’s only her money, and her friends’ money they’re after.

People think Republicans are the party of Business or Chamber of Commerce, but they are the party of 200 individual ideas and NO STRATEGY!!. They sound like a drunk uncle on Thanksgiving, “We lived better under Regan or Newt or Lincoln.” geez time to get a life and a message. They could start with cleaning up regulations and spending. Get David Mamet and a few of the Big Hollywood folks to help 200 people get a simple message. /rant off
