HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A gun toting homeowner took matters into his own hands when he found an alleged burglar in his house.
The incident happened at home in 1000 block of 23rd Street in Huntington late Tuesday night.
Huntington Police say they arrived at the house to find the homeowner holding John Allen Bryan, 37, of Huntington at gunpoint.
According to the criminal complaint, the man came home to find the front door wide open, the back door kicked open, and Bryan going through his belongings inside the house.

The homeowner was siezed by an uncontrollable combination of rage at a black man in the White House, the advancement towards equality for LGBT people, the provision of choice for womyn, and social justice, decency and civilization in general. He was controlled completely by the object he grabbed, a deadly, high powered, high capacity, assault pistol, and pointed it at the poor, innocent man that was going through the homeowners's belongings to find a snack for the Sunday school class he was going to teach a few days hence. Just as the slobbering homeowner was about to fill the poor Sunday school teacher with about 300 rounds of 45 mm lead, the police arrived and ......
1. stabilize the situation
2. once perp is in submission.. tell him to stand up with his back to a wall at least 5 yards away
3. Toss him a butcher knife and demand he catch it
4. once perp has knife in hand...OPEN FIRE!
5.Call 911
(Note on Rule 2: it is important that perp has back to the wall so that he falls forward in “attack mode”)
I don’t think it got any national attention, but an elderly homeowner (on oxygen!) near me in Medford Oregon held a burgler for the cops...gangbanger with a Latino gang.
Actually there were two recently.
They are hitting retirement mobile home parks...doesn’t seem to be working out well for ‘em, does it?
