Not really. Every time anyone shoots someone, there is a risk that they will be found guilty of a crime and their gun taken away. If you have a CCW, you have removed the risk of the government saying that you were not allowed to have the gun concealed.
The default position is not to use the gun. Using it is a rare event that will likely be investigated to insure that it was justified.
This is as it should be.
