Wow, I was unaware of his family situation. That makes a terrible and evil act that much worse.
I’m coming to the opinion that “cruel and unusual punishment” needs to be thrown out the window. There probably should be the option of things like “staked out naked on a fire ant hill” and “lowered inch by inch into boiling sulfuric acid”. That might provide enough deterrent for those who have no basic sense of right and wrong.
Rest easy CPO Kyle, and thank you for your service! I’m sure you and your friend are at peace in God’s hands.
