ANY ‘big’ donors who give anything but the finger to rove and his band of charlatans does not want to win anything but the status quo.
If it’s war they want, frikkin’ all out war is what we should give them.
Starting last November!
Who ARE these ‘big donors’? Find them and make sure that you don’t spend one penny more on anything they own or run. Boycott the bucks. Don’t bank at their banks. Sell off their stocks. Don’t stay at their hotels. Don’t give them anything but grief.
We’re REALLY getting under a lot of peoples skin, aren’t we?
Just remember, KARL - Republicans WERE a Third Party once-upon-a-time. People weren’t buying what The Whigs were selling. STILL AREN’T!
Get a clue.
The time to launch a new party is NOW ... long before the 2014 midterms. This needs to be combined with a rock-solid “true the vote” effort, so they can’t steal another election.
What we need is a high-profile conservative (Cruz? Sarah?) willing to step up and endure the abuse for daring to live, act and think like a conservative.
More than a few Congresscritters will jump on the bandwagon. A handful of big victories in the midterms will erase the “third party” stigma and clear the way for an honest victory, whether in 2016 or looking ahead to 2020.
Fine.....it’s on biatch!
Both the Club for Growth and the Senate Conservatives Fund two of the most prominent groups that have boosted candidates on the right mocked the new initiative as yet another hapless establishment-side attempt to muzzle the GOP base.
Matt Hoskins, executive director of the Senate Conservatives Fund, branded it the Conservative Defeat Project.
The Conservative Defeat Project is yet another example of the Republican establishments hostility toward its conservative base. Rather than listening to the grassroots and working to advance their principles, the establishment has chosen to declare war on the partys most loyal supporters, Hoskins said. If they keep this up, the party will remain in the wilderness for decades to come.
Club for Growth spokesman Barney Keller essentially responded by pointing to the scoreboard in recent primaries in which conservative insurgents have prevailed and emerged as influential GOP leaders.
They are welcome to support the likes of Arlen Specter, Charlie Crist and David Dewhurst, Keller said of the new Crossroads group. We will continue to proudly support the likes of Pat Toomey, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz.
Remember all those years on FR where we read: “Rove, you magnificent bastard”?
There were some of us who left out the “magnificent” and were castigated.
I'm very surprised to see Ralph Reed of the Christian Coalition running with these concern trolls.
Back in 2000 (1999 actually, I guess), Karl Rove recruited Ken Lay and his criminal Enron enterprise to sideline Reed with a political consulting contract that tied down Reed during the 2000 primary season. He wanted Reed out of the way while he steered Dubya and the Bush faction into the White House with Log Cabin support. Rove was lecturing the Christian conservatives at the 2000 convention over their box lunches while Dubya and Mary Matalin were across town wining and dining with the Loggies and telling them that sure, they were all for "gay marriage" --- any opposition, Matalin told the gays, was "so unfair!"
So why is Reed running with these trolls now on immigration/Blowing Up Old America?
I think you’re exactly right. Amen.
No other person in American Marketing History has had such large budgets that have produced so little in tangible or positive result. He is also endowed with the unique ability to take candidates with commanding leads and turn their campaigns into exciting cliff-hangers, which more often than not, they lose. Gosh, so many Rove stories. How about that time he placed millions of campaign funds with a Democrat controlled ad agency who made GW the worst set of TV commercials ever seen, and that immediately reported every strategic media move to the DNC?
Karl, a high school dropout, refers to himself as an idiot savant. So far, we have definitive proof of the idiot but nothing of the savant.
But then again, these are highly abstruse technical grounds for disliking the man. How about that he is demonstrably a no-good SOB, a disloyal and entirely unprincipled dog, a jerk who would sell his mother and deliver, and the man who swears up and down that "Mexicans are the Republicans of the Future?
It is time for the GOP to die. If you need proof, consider that the RNC STILL has complete faith in Rove, as does Hair-Do Hannity who insists upon calling him "The Architect." Well, WTF, even the Titanic had an architect.
In his political movie "W", director-producer Oliver Stone assigned a line to actor Richard Dreyfuss (playing Rove) that basically said Rove is a closeted homosexual.
There are about three or four levels of deceit and concealment in such a claim, but it happens to describe Rove's politics since about 1996 ... since 43 was governor of Texas and throughout his term of office, Dubya was overwhelmingly kind and solicitous toward homosexuals and the homolobby. The only issue he broke with them on, was the DOMA dispute, when the Manor Bush walked away from them. In 2004, moreover, Rove used down-ballot "defense of marriage" referenda to turn out conservative voters to defeat the abominable Kerry.
The rest of the time, it's been wine and roses. This needs an explanation, since homosexuals are one of the core constituencies of the Democrat Party since the 1980's.
Your Point? Is it that people with LARGE egos, like Rove, like entering into debate in the public arena to diminish themselves?
Rove is the leader of the big-government, socially liberal, GOP-e RINO herd! He sees tea party conservatives as an enemy.
FR took a helluva risk during the primaries bucking these guys and we got hit pretty hard membership wise, but unfortunately, we were right all along. Rove/Romney and the GOP-e liberals lost anyway and now the battle is just beginning for the heart and soul of the Republican Party. If RINO Rove and Co maintain their leadership positions, the party will be dead to conservatives. We have no voice in the GOP!!
FR and the tea party must rise up against these establishment RINOS!! Our Liberty depends upon it.
Don’t give up the ship!! We have not yet begun to fight!!
Don’t tell Sean Hannity or he’ll just bust out sobbing.
John Boehner, Carl Rove, Mitch McConnell, John McCain and countless other's are to thank for that monicker.
As for me, I haven't claimed to be a Republican since 1991 when "read my lips, no new taxes" became a broken promise. The entire GOP/GOP-e (same thing in my book) can kiss my Conservative backside.
IMO, all right-thinking Conservatives left long ago. The Tea Party's a good start, it needs to be taken to the next level. I'll be one of those helping it.
As someone mentioned, Rove is just the figurehead.
He’s being paid, and as such, will do what he’s told. Even if it means running a Vichy movement.
And I would point to John McCain and Mitt Romney going down in presidential campaigns
Preach it, brother Jim! :)
Cha. And he sees TEA Party Conservatives as a MUCH bigger enemy than Communists, Socialists, and Liberals (aka Democrats).
I rue the day I ever had ONE NICE THING to say about that jackwagon.
Good luck with that, RYMB (Rove You Magnificant Buffoon).
According to the NYT’s article, ROVE and his cohorts may first target Steve King of Iowa as “unacceptable.”
We’ve been right all along.
We have to fight Rove and his evil GOP-E, TEA Party-hating Moderates!
God Bless Us All!
Free Republic... TEA Party before TEA Party was cool!®
In my opinion there are no conservatives that make it to political office anymore. Through all the institutions in our nation, the leftists have cemented themselves into places of authority. The effort that the left has gone to is immense and will not be suddenly overcome by the rather substantial group of outsiders that now have no recourse but to defy “edicts”.
“Not hot but thought” is a very difficult concept to teach conscripts that have been taught cradle to now that the government is their king and that they now recognize is superfluous. We can use thought as a weapon only when there is a paradigm established that Gods words must be followed.
Love the Lord thy God and follow his commandments only makes sense when taught in the context of people and governments. What is going on now is nothing like that.
How, pray tell, does the all-knowing Mr Rove expect to win even one race while alienating a very significant portion of his voters?
Worked real good this past November, didn’t it?
They ran John C. Fremont for President.
What we need is a NEW REPUBLICAN NATIONAL COMMITTEE. Simply form it and invite state Republican parties to send delegates to an organizing meeting.
It's up to the state parties to disfellowship the RNC.
I believe that Rove and the GOPe consider us to be a direct threat and the Left to be the ‘loyal opposition’ and just another member of ‘the club’. We must continue to work hard and at all levels, grow our candidates and not allow them to become complacent or bend to the RINOS or to the Left.
Yup. With Rove as the architect, the GOP Liberty ship is going down like the Titanic. Praying he’s deep-sixed from any leadership status before taking the ship of state down with him.
American Crossroads didn’t do so hot in 2012. Rove was an embarrassment with all the money he spent to get Romney elected. I’m not sure wealthy donors will fall for that again.
Guess Hannity will have to be discredited. He loves Rove and has him on all the time.
And the nurdly ones too.
The irony. If the GOP would quit picking these inside men as candidates, they wouldn’t have to worry as much about people like ODonnell. Instead, Rove wants to double down on the policy.
I think i we simply go after thieves we'll be getting rid o those we need to get rid of.
I feel your pain. But the diagnosis is terminal. The Republicans replaced the Whigs and now we need to replace the Republican concept. The Union was saved. The slaves are freed. Now we need to save the Republic and the Constitution, which is rapidly deconstructing itself into a Latin-American-style oligarchy.
Eventually, The Two Party System might give way to a 4 or 5 party system. Perhaps we can develop a 6-year, one term Presidency to go along with it. Karl Rove, Ted Cruz, and Jim DeMint cannot rationally co-exist within 1 party. Republicans? Constitutionalists? Democrats? Socialists? Progressives? Right, Left, Center Right, Center Left, Far Right, Far Left?
Drawback? Requires citizens capable of some level of rational thought, knowledge, and action; not the tattooed, pierced, permanent 14-year old adolescent, overweight ani that appear to be the typical gimme-gimme American Wal-Mart Shopper of today.
You’re right! Rove is without principles. Notice he rarely, if ever, mentions God. Dead giveaway. He’s more liberal than anything else and I’ll never forgive him for not blasting back when the lamesteam were coming at President GWB with barrels of ink and airwaves of lies. Rove can GTH.
Rubio is now taking orders from the neocons Rubio just hired an amnesty-loving neocon for his staff. Invasion-crazed neocons want immigration reform at any cost because they need impoverished Hispanics as cannnon fodder for future puke invasions/land wars.
Loser McCain is the perrenial puke puppet----the pukeneo prez favorite.
Looks like the pukes have been entertaining at the Four Seasons----Lindseed, Ryan and Newt have also been puke-duped, repeating the current GOP mantra: "I support the Rubio immigration reform plan"
The pukeneos never saw an immigrant they didn't want to subsidize with tax dollars---dating back to WW 11. The contemporary Russian trek to the US is s-o-o-o-o profitable, they got Russians pretending they're Jews so they can stop off in Israel first---grab all the US subsidized freebies there---then fly here to sign up to ride the US gravy train. As refugees seeking "asylum from persecution" the US gravy train speeds up----the freebies are tripled.
Mmmmm......sure would like to be a fly on the wall at the Four Seasons---where the puke elite meet downtrodden GOP'ers---- over chilled Cristal, imported room temp Brie and water crackers.
Course there's gonna be A LOT MORE puke-invasions and land wars since the pukes duped Bush into invading Iran. Now that the entire 100 million-strong Muslim world is aflame with hatred for the US, Americans, and Christians.
I guess the pukes will have to use darts and a Mideast map to decide which country they want the US to invade next (cackle).
Odd isnt it? Fox News got rid of pukeneo pals---Rove and Palin----but Chief Puke Billy Kristol is still a Fox talking head.
REFERENCE Kristol once acknowledged that the NeoCons had successfully purged the isolationists from the GOP and were moving to purge the Realists, especially older realists----Hagel, Scowcroft, Baker, Kissinger, Schultz, Lugar etc.
NOTE:And let's not forget the pukeneos' very fave sport as they squat in the Repub party---kicking social conservatives to the curb.
I agree. The smartest thing the devil ever did was convince the world that he wasn’t real. Well, the smartest thing the communists ever did was to convince Americans that they were beaten. Now, any talk of communists can be dismissed with the wave of the hand and “Oh, are you STILL fighting the Cold War?? We won! Get over it.”
hehheh. I think those guys have gone into hiding, right along with the guys who were certain the housing boom would last forever.
Back online again for a brief moment, and just wanted to drop another note in response to:
“Dont give up the ship!! We have not yet begun to fight!!”
I cannot see any reason to not contribute whatever one can to this fight. Free Republic is most important in this fight, and we need FR to be open for discussion, and action to happen.
Right now is the best time to send whatever amount of money you can to FR via the donate link, or to the PO box address in Fresno. Freepers have a history of effecting the course of political activities, and Free Republic IS the home of Freepers. Let’s keep the lights on, and the Leftist politicians knees shaking.
The Republican party hierarchy:
Rove, Juan Williams, Bill Beckel, Hannity, Romney, McCain, Bill O’Reilly and all assorted anti Tea Party RINOs.
Rove was out at Fox News for a while, he came back in,
Sarah went out.
The GOP-e is on it's last legs as a Conservative party, and has been for some times. Them skinny little legs won't be able to hold that bloated body up forever. (Heh, that kinda makes Rove the poster boy for the GOP)
Karl Rove’s Conservative Victory Project, reason #503 for real conservatives, those who respect our constitutional republic & the TEA Party to form a new, third party.
I agree. Hannity often points out RINO Republicans when they betray us, but never criticizes Rove, who is THE ARCHITECT behind the entire RINO cabal. Rove deserves criticism at every opportunity. He’s f**ked up every national campaign, losing two against the most fake, inept, Marxist moron in the world.
The establishment is DARING conservatives to go third party! I fear that is our only remaining recourse and it carries a risk of heavy losses for both the GOP-e and Conservatives. I pray for a success, but fear that it will entrench the Marxists of the left.
We are truly at a turning point in American History.
I have been a registered Republican for over 52 years..
I will be changing my registration very soon.
To support the Tea Party, I guess I will have to register as Independant.
“I agree. From now on, any so-called conservative publications or websites that give Rove a platform should be discredited.”
He is one of the primary reasons that I haven’t watched Fox News since the election! Rove, O’Reilly and a hand full of others can all KMA!
