The home of two Wright State students was invaded Monday evening in Fairborn, ending with one of the alleged intruders dying from a gunshot wound.
According to a Dayton Daily News article published Monday and updated Tuesday afternoon, Police said Tuesday that it is still a bit unclear what prompted the five individuals, ages 19 to 23, to force their way into the Victoria Avenue home while brandishing a fake plastic gun.
The article continues, Two Wright State students were home when the intruders entered. Trent Seitz, 21, reportedly struggled with the men and was ordered to the floor. He called out for his roommate, Christopher Muse, who told police that he grabbed a gun and fired at the men.

Spoken recently by Syllie Rambo Stallone.
Syllie, I would call 5 guys an army when they attack a house.
But why didn’t that little orange tip on the gun supposed to stop this? /s
Thanks for the additional background. Those Amish are everywhere.

Ohhhhh, the children.....!!!!!!
I live in the Wright State area and was extremely happy to hear that the students were ok.
I wish the home invaders, for that is what they are, were both deceased.

I believe I’ll ask for a government grant to study the increased likelihood of becoming a criminal and/or a corpse if one has an apostrophe in one’s name. What do you think, a couple million dollars for the study sound about right?
See? There were only five guys busting down the door, so it was a case of wa-a-a-y overkill! Besides, they were only a few high-spirited youts out for some fun - obviously - as it is still unclear what they were doing bustin' in like that with a "fake" (non-lethal) plastic gun.
Maybe the "sensible gun safety" politicians should cut our allowable bullets back to a maximum allowable of five - in the interests of "public safety", of course...?
I think what we have here is allegory. Maya Angelou ain't poetifying the meaning of this one. Writing checks your dim wit can't cash.
I don’t believe this crap for one second! The victims were obviously neighborhood watch captains who were stalking these peaceful studious young men who mistook their home for a place they could get some Skittles and iced tea. Harumph!
If you read the link to the local news you will see that the students were contacted by one of the guys asking to buy MJ. The student let him in, then the others entered with the fake gun. The victims in this may be in some trouble too.
“...randishing a fake plastic gun.
The gun maker must not have been able to get any real plastic.
The one with the dumbest name is dead.
like that narrows it down?
“Like that narrows it down?”
lol true enough.
But as Two Kids’ Dad points out, if you take a truly dumb name, then throw an brutally stupid apostrophe into it, you are heading into potentially deadly territory..ha..
