Sarah Palin's profile might not be as high as it was a few years ago, but she apparently still serves as a convenient punching bag for the left.
On today's Morning Joe, as Joe Scarborough railed against the allegedly "stupid" arguments NRA leader Wayne LaPierre made on Fox News Sunday yesterday, Mika Brzezinski muttered "something Sarah Palin would say." Consider that Palin had been in no way quoted, nor had her position on gun control been discussed. This was nothing more than a gratuitious shot at Palin, obviously still a bogeyman for the MSM.

the next time liberal invokes Sarah Palin’s “stupid” remark about seeing Russia, I plan to tell the liberal that he is too stupid to recognize a figure of speech, something that takes intelligence to make, and intelligence to appreciate.

The left feels successful in ruining Palin and making her a joke. If they want to demonize a person, they compare them to Palin, who in their opinion, is all things stupid.

She has viewership over two dozen. (If you count NewsBusters, etc.).
Leftist women like Mika are terrified of Sarah ... she blows all their feminist dogma to smithereens, by word & deed. In addition to being very attractive, articulate and personally/professionally successful, Sarah is married to a man (as opposed to being lesbo), and able to multi-task with things like being a mom and going hunting (she can handle a gun - oh my!). If this isn’t ‘bad’ enough, Sarah has also committed the ultimate ‘feminist’ sin ... she didn’t abort her Downs Syndrome baby.
For someone so stupid, Palin’s decisions always keep working out right. In fact, I’ve been reveiwing some of Palin’s speeches and other comments for a book project, and she’s been way ahead of the curve on energy, on crony capitalism, and the government theft of our country from before our eyes. Yeah, she’s stupid alright, but I guess just lucky that time always proves her right....

Why does ANYONE care what any of these people say?
The hold no degrees of relevance.
No one elected them.
They likely have little work or life experience on most of the topics they pontificate on.
They are PAID talking heads.
Ignore them.
He only became a Republican for long enough to get elected to the House from the thoroughly conservative Florida Panhandle.
