Rand Paul voted YEA to allowing Lurch to impose his perverted views through the Department of State.
The ONLY Senators with the guts to vote against Lurch were Cruz, Cornyn, and Inhofe.
I agree with you about Rand, btw, but this illustrates my point that no one is going to be perfect....and the way we in the Conservative movement are ripping each other up, it may be DECADES before we ever get the reins.
Karl Rove, for instance, wants to be sure, as I understand it, that our candidates aren’t prone to foot-in-mouth disease. That should be ALL of our goal. But he is being ripped for that.

While I agree that candidates on our side often get into issues that they are not properly prepared to handle, correctly; Rove has come down against true Conservatives who were quite adequate; but who put principle ahead of Rove's very confused views of what is practical.

The Conservative movement is a work in progress. We have to keep plowing away at finding a Conservative candidate, who CAN win, and then win the election. Period. Don't know how long that will take...have to keep fighting for what we want. There will be lots of in-fighting...certain folks want to keep their piece of the power pie. Actions speak louder than words...look to what these politicians do, just as we must with obozo, and not with what they say. This is a hell of a time to be living in this country...my parents had a fight on their hands with WWII. And now it is my turn to win this war against the socialists/communists/marxists/revolutionaries/muslim sympathizers in this country.
I'll rip the turd not for wanting Candidates from sticking their foot in there mouth but rather the fact that when one did, it was ROVE that wouldn't let it die. The little fat turd was on 24/7 tearing the candidates apart on LIBERAL shows. How the F@#$ did that help ANY candidate on the right? He wanted to show everyone how smart he was, instead he HELPED defeat Conservatives and wasted 100 Million dollars on Left Leaning Candidates that got beat by far left Commie Bastards. He was also behind GW's great government Expansion. I wish he would go play in the middle of a freeway.
