Didn’t surprise me. Reid is one of the top senators the NRA has a relationship with. Reid is well-hated here on FR but the NRA has him wrapped.
I think it's the other way around.......Reid uses the NRA. Period.

The purpose of the Second Ammendment isn’t to guarantee our right to sport hunt or have guns for sentimental reasons.
It is to guarante our right to arms to protect ourselves from the excesses of tyrannical crazies like Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.

Plush highrises that people like Harry Reid live in will NOT be protected by armed security.
Section 8 people will be moved into all luxury residential buildings at the governments expense. We'll all happily pay a little more to return the kindness our 'leaders' have 'shared' with the rest of us.... Seems elites are racists. Time to spread the joy around a little more equally - oh and remember - NO ARMED SECURITY...

No guns for their body guards - or security teams. They can rely on the same 'gun control' laws the rest of us have to rely on.... Hollywood can live like the people they want to disarm.
NO paid gun carrying security for newspapers or networks either. Or anyone. If we're disarmed, everyone's disarmed. Well, except for criminals - they don't tend to follow the law. The elites will discover that once their protection is taken from them
