A 25-year-old Iraq war veteran charged with murdering former Navy SEAL and "American Sniper" author Chris Kyle and his friend turned a gun onto the pair while they were at a Texas shooting range, authorities said Sunday.

This article is a bit difficult to read and understand due to its neoSoviet, Pravdaesque style. Going through it, careful reading will glean some intersting points:

1) Although the article says the shooting occurred " at a shooting range at Rough Creek Lodge," it does not say where at the range it occurred. Then it later says, "Bryant said Kyle, Littlefield and Routh went to the shooting range around 3:15 p.m. Saturday. A hunting guide at Rough Creek Lodge came across the bodies of Kyle and Littlefield around 5 p.m. and called 911." That, and the allegation that Routh, the suspect, escaped in Kyle's truck, implies that Routh shot Kyle and Littlefield as the three left the truck and fled in the truck, leaving the bodies to be found about two hours later. Thus the shooting looks like a surprise, deliberate hit that was perpetrated where no one else could stop it or capture the perp.

2) According to the article, "Kyle said in his book that Iraqi insurgents had put a bounty on his head." Also, "[Routh] was deployed to Iraq in 2007 and Haiti in 2010." Any PTSD Routh may have had necessarily and likely dated back to something that happened in Iraq more than four years ago. Curiously enough, Routh is wearing what looks like a Muzzie convert's beard, someting he'd not be likely to wear if he were suffering from Iraq incurred PTSD, but that he'd be wearing if he was a recent convert to Islam. Couple that with the price the Muzzies put on Kyle's head, and it looks like this could be a Muzzie hit.

Definitely disturbing “coincidences.” Also remember John Doe II in the McVeigh case and how he was never found despite the almost photographic FBI drawing of him. Another thing is how carefully the AP buried the most important points in the article, all of themn being things that raise the possibility this was not a simple nut case killing.

Definitely a cause for concern that this indeed was a “hit”.

Too many coincidences these days with all the killings of just the “good guys”. Why are we not hearing of any of the LEFT wing nut jobs being popped?
